Prayer for Our Country

Most Precious and Almighty Heavenly Father,

We thank You for the wonderful country You have given us! We praise You for everyone who has come before us -- our Founders and military personnel -- who fought for Your ideals. We pray a special blessing upon those men and women who continue to stand in defense of this country and daily put themselves on the line in the name of freedom. We pray for all voters, that You would incline our hearts to cast our votes based upon Your will for the United States of America. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, You guarantee the following: "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We thank You for this guarantee, Lord! We believe we ARE Your people called by Your Name. We humble ourselves before You and pour out our hearts with gratitude and love. We seek Your continued guidance in our lives and for this great country. We confess our shortcomings and the times we have failed to let Your Holy Spirit work through us and in us. We recommit ourselves to Your will and wisdom. We receive the forgiveness that only the blood of Jesus provides. We invite You and Your Spirit into this country and its people. We ask You to heal our land. We bind all forces of evil that seek to derail us and our country. We loose Your Spirit to move freely in the hearts, minds and lives of every American. We praise You for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do. We, again, praise and thank You for Your abundance in all ways! In the Precious Name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, Amen!

We Give Thanks!

There are three primary types of "thanks" in this world. There is gratitude that is insincere or "automatic" because we are either trying to "be nice" or we take something for granted. There is gratitude that is undeniably sincere and easily expressed. Then, there is gratitude that is heartfelt but never expressed. On Thanksgiving, may we remember to always speak and act with genuine sincerity that reflects our gratitude. May we refuse to leave any gratitude unexpressed, and may we never take for granted even the smallest of blessings. Lord Jesus, thank You for the biggest blessing we will ever receive -- the gift of eternal life as the result of Your sacrifice on the cross! Thank You for the spiritual freedom You provide. Thank You for all of the freedom this country was founded upon, and thank You for every man and woman who defends it -- past, present and future. We ask that You shower upon each of these people special blessings of comfort, praise and safety. We thank You for those serving in Afghanistan and Iraq, but also for those serving all around the world. We pray for the families of deployed personnel, that You in Your miraculous and loving ways, will draw them close in spirit despite the geographic distance. We especially pray for all families who have lost military loved ones. Wrap them in Your arms in undeniable ways. For all who are facing the holidays (especially for the first time) without a specific loved one -- military or otherwise -- we thank You for the Holy Spirit as Our Comforter. May the memories be infused with gratitude and joy that outweighs sadness. In Your Precious and Sacrificial Name...the Name Above All Names...Wonderful, Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Amen!

SUSAF: In Honor of Those Who Sacrifice

As Veterans' Day is observed, please take a moment to consider offering your monetary, as well as prayer support to those who have served and continue to serve in the military. The sacrifices these Americans and their families make are countless and continuous. One way of showing your thanks is to visit and offer a tax-deductible donation. This organization focuses on "the homefront" -- realizing that one of the best ways to ease stress on our deployed troops is to take care of their families. Funds raised go to purchasing household necessities to lessen financial burdens. Assistance care packages also include letters of encouragement and support from citizens around the country. SUSAF also provides discrete access to licensed counselors in the event returning military personnel need individual or family counseling. The goal is to help all affected heal from the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress, as well as to prevent suicide and divorce.

Thank you in advance for offering more than your powerful prayers...a powerful "thank you."

Don't Fear the Lightning!

Each of us have experienced some degree of "existing in a funk" -- knowing God is leading us somewhere but we (1) don't know where, (2) don't know when to make the next move, (3) don't know how to move and/or (4) what that move should be. I have been in that place. I lived in it for faaaarrrr too long. It feels like the fire is out, the energy is gone and excuses abound. Simply put, it's running on empty and being in desperate need of fortification.

When the earth's soil is running low on nutrients, God sends the rain. But we often forget about the importance of the lightning that often accompanies it. The water refreshes the parched land, and the lightning injects it with massive surges of energy to rejuvinate. Kind of like a cosmic defibrilator.

Many times, the Bible refers to soil, especially "you reap what you sow." When we run low and sink into the "funk" of emotional, mental, physical and spiritual stalemate, sometimes the storms are the only thing that will quench our thirsty souls and reignite our energy levels.

Are you in a "funk" that feels insurmountable at times? Have you become complacent and acquiesced to mediocrity? Do you want to get out but don't seem to understand what the first step is or how to take it? Don't worry when the storm comes! It will offer the shove into greatness that God has set aside for you. The rain (perhaps in the form of tears) will bring new nourishment to replace the drought. And, no matter what, don't fear the lightning. It will bring a surge of courage and determination you thought you'd lost.

Who Is The Opposition?

"For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." ~ Ephesians 6:12

With the 9th anniversary of September 11th rapidly approaching, American sensitivities are heightened by the vivid memories of that tragic day. Adding to that "rawness" are plans for the Muslim Mega-Shrine to be built near the hallowed soil of New York City's Ground Zero. I join countless Americans who believe reverance and tolerance are two-way streets, and that those behind the shrine-building effort would abandon the site plans if they, too, believed in mutual respect. If nothing else, scrapping the building plan could be one heck of a public relations move for those involved. I also believe that just because one has a "right" to do something does not mean it is right to actually DO it.

Many of us are increasingly concerned about the spread of radical Islam (emphasis on "radical"), and that concern can and does easily give way to making Christians insecure about the future of our "One Nation Under God" and overall safety. This is why it is imperative for us to remember who we are fighting. Islam is not the enemy any more than anything else. SATAN is the enemy. Plain and simple.

Every person has free will, of course. Every one of us makes the decision in any given circumstance on any given day to make Godly decisions or self-seeking decisions. It only takes one moment for any of us to make a destructive decision. It only takes one moment for any of us to make a positive Godly decision, as well. We must remember to stand strong against the entities noted in Ephesians 6. We must remember to love everyone because God Almighty, Our Heavenly Father, created every person (Mark 12:30-31). Whether or not we decide to be seduced by sin determines what kind of person anyone becomes (Please read the ENTIRE book of Jude! It's only one chapter.)

Our ONLY security comes in (a) correctly targeting our opponent; (b) correctly understanding who we fight FOR; and (c) God is unspeakably greater than ANY force in opposition. Please join me in praying against Satan's schemes, the blindness of the lost and Christ's enlightenment for all. How do those people see Christ? They will know we are Christians by our love. Let's love those who oppose us by praying for their spiritual liberation (Jude 1:22-23). And let us always remember, they oppose us to begin with because of the powerful Name we serve!

Happy Birthday, USA!

As we celebrate American independence, we take pause to thank our patriotic Founding Fathers and Mothers who sacrificed everything they had in the quest for abundant life. We, too, honor each and every subsequent patriot who has fought to protect and defend that freedom.

But during this time, may we also be particularly mindful of the freedom we have in Christ -- freedom from sin, fear, hate, depression, worry and hopelessness. It is a freedom bought by His blood in the name of having life...and having it more abundantly (John 10:10).

My prayer is that each of us would more fully connect with love for ourselves, our neighbors, our friends (and enemies), our country and our world. That we would never take for granted even the most minescule of blessings we enjoy and never undervalue the power of our appreciation for others. Above all, may we praise God Almighty from Whom all blessings flow.

Help for Haiti

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." ~ Psalm 147:3

As this small country faces monumental challenges following the recent spate of earthquakes, please remember to uphold each and every resident and volunteer in prayer. Haiti continues to be in need of God's Healing Hand in every respect. One of the many beautiful characteristics of our Heavenly Father is His capacity as The Great Physician. Please consider a heartfelt donation to Doctors Without Borders, an international organization made up of volunteer doctors, nurses and surgeons who are working feverishly to address as many medical needs as possible. Haiti is only one of the more than 60 countries in which this organization is making a difference with their expertise and compassion. Its volunteers respond to the most pressing medical needs throughout our world. Your tax-deductible donation can be made at

II Chron. 7:14

Let me just add a quote from Ronald Reagan -"If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be anation gone under."

I truly believe this is why the United States of America isin the shape we are in today. Most people have forgotten that weare ONE NATION UNDER GOD! Let us as Christians stand upand remind people of this.~ Have a Blessed Day!

From Lt. Col. R.B. Thieme Jr., Retired Army Air Corps; RB Thieme Jr., Bible Ministries

Father, as we fellowship in the Word, we recognize the many divine mandates that have been given to us. We recognize Heavenly Father, that we are mandated to pray for those who have been given authority over us, and we remember them at this moment. We remember the President of the United States in a transition period, and we remember the President-elect in a preparation period, that this might be a profitable time for both. We remember that the President-elect has tremendous responsibility, and we pray he might have wisdom and we might have understanding of the trends of history.

We pause to thank You that Jesus Christ controls history. As long as the United States of America stands as a client nation to God, we as believers have a special responsibility to be supportive through our spiritual lives so this nation might be blessed by association from You. We recognize our personal responsibility to stand fast in the Word of God and not be distracted by any recent events, whether we like them or not. Our state of tranquility from Bible Doctrine, open to each of us under equal privilege and equal opportunity, will carry us on to spiritual victory. We recognize our personal responsibility to never hinder, hurt, or judge anyone, regardless of our personal opinions. We leave all judgment to the Supreme Court of Heaven.

Therefore, Father, we pray that we might be challenged to leave matters in Your hands, to move on with our lives, and to allow the Supreme Court of Heaven to rule in our lives. Keep us from being a hindrance to Your infallible judgments. Give us the wisdom to utilize the times in which we live for evangelism, for spiritual growth, for the fulfillment of the very purpose for which we are sustained logistically. Keep us from complaining or criticizing everything that comes our way instead of recognizing that You, Heavenly Father, have caused all things to work together for good for those who love God and are elected on the basis of Your predetermined plan.

We pause to thank You that You remember us in a very special way; and that God the Holy Spirit is making intercession for us with “groanings which cannot be uttered”; and that at this moment our Lord Jesus Christ, as our Great High Priest, is making intercession for us at Your throne. Father, it is time for us to leave matters of history in Your hands and not to get in the way, but to get out of the way by growing in Grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever.” Amen (Jude 1.24-25)

It was only about three months back that I came to this country. I was interested in the elections and I listened to every speech of yours that I could over the net. I thought to myself, now that is a man of courage, a true hero, someone America needs and who has served the country so well all his life. I have admired you since through out the entire campaign including your wife who went everywhere with you and showed her immense support.

It was however during your speech last night after Obama's victory that I truly respected you and it brought tears to my eyes. I am sure that you will continue your service to the country. In the days ahead I pray that God blesses you and your family abundantly.

God Bless America and God bless John McCain.

WITH A HEAVY HEART from FlaggyGirl

Tonight it is with a heavy heart that I write this blog. But nonetheless, I am so proud of both Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin! They were slammed by the media, slammed by the far left demagogues, and the general population was swayed by what they heard and did not make the effort to think for themselves! So they didn't lose; those who either did not vote or voted against McCain are the losers! Senator McCain and Governor Palin, I am so proud of both of you!

May God bless both of you and your families!
Hold your heads high!

Psalms 27

Words fail me but my heart does not...

Thank you! for your Service My President (Because you are the one, I voted for and You will always be that to me.) I am so honored by your strength and wisdom and most of all for the CLASS you showed on that stage last night in Arizona, and the night Obama was nominated for the Dem. Party. You are a leader and he could never fill your shoes ever. I am just sad today because the American people feel he is the best choice. We all know, those of us who are true Patriots, that he will not help our country but hurt it. And that he is not what this country needs.

My wish for you is to have Peace and know that from this day forward you have one Democrat Latina here in me that will always cherish you and pray for you always. Know that you are a gift to all America. Even to the ones who didn't really care to know about you. You did a great job and it is NOT your fault, you did all you could, we all did. You are a "True American Patriot". Take care of you and your beautiful wife, Cindy whom we also love, I could see her love in the way she looks at you. And the pride that just emanated from her. And that alone says alot about You, the man. Thank you Cindy for allowing us to get to know you and your husband and your beautiful family.

Take care of each other and God Bless You All!
God Bless America!

What a remarkable election! Despite the fact that Obama supporters dominated our education system, our film industry, our unions and our news media, John McCain and Sarah Palin fought the good fight and came close to winning anyway.

Despite being outspent 5 to 1 and 4 to 1 in many key states, McCain-Palin only lost Florida (27) by 2 points, Ohio (20) by 3 points and Virginia (13) by 3 points. If those three states (60 votes total) had gone the other way, the totals would have been Obama-Biden 277 to McCain-Palin 260.

Over 110 million Americans cast their votes and McCain-Palin only lost by 4 million or 3.6% of the total - not a landslide or a mandate by any stretch - just a hard-fought contest between two strong campaigns.

I know a lot of pundits will start nit-picking McCain-Palin first thing tomorrow, if not already, but I wanted to say how proud I was of the way they fought this campaign and how much they accomplished against very long odds.

My family feels like we have gotten to know both John McCain and Sarah Palin and feel great affection for the inspiring leaders they both are, for their wonderful families and for the long hours they put in helping to keep U.S. free and reminding us how great this country is.

Thank you Senator McCain!
Thank you Governor Palin!

Dear McCain family:

First, Senator McCain you are one of my heroes. I have always wanted to meet you, sir, and to shake your hand and tell you thank you for your service to this country. My father is a retired Navy man and you remind me of him in some ways. Thank you for everything that you have done and continue to do in service to this nation. Second, I want to tell you that I really enjoyed being a part of this campaign. I regret that I was unable to celebrate tonight along with everyone else, but I'm very proud of you for the way your campaign was conducted with so much class and dignity. The next four years of this country aren't going to be easy for us Republicans, but when I think of what your family has went through it pales in comparison.

Senator, I almost died when I was 6 years old of complications from spinal meningitis. I was in a coma for a week and thank God I came out of it, but because of the high fever I sustained I suffer from mild hearing loss in my left ear and a condition known as hip dysplasia. However, nothing I went through or experienced could ever possibly come close to what you had to endure and the fact that you stayed with your men and refused to come is truly inspiring and humbling. We need more people like you, Senator McCain.

I don't know what you have planned for the next four years. But wherever you go and whatever you do, you'll always have a friend and a footsoldier in the McCain Revolution in me. I know this isn't the night you expected, but take a good look around you. There are so many people on this website who are here because of you. There are so many people here who are better people like me because of you. You and your family have had a profound effect on our lives and I just want to say thank you and God bless you and America.

Jeff Mills

I wish to send Senator John McCain my highest regards. I wish to let him know that I honor him as a person, and I honor his service to the United States of America. I believe the people of this nation would be extremely blessed to have Sen. McCain as our president; although, we don't even come close to deserving such a great character, as he certainly is. Senator McCain, you have overwhelmingly EARNED the privilage of owning the U.S. presidency. I thank you with all my heart for simply being who you are, a great man of honor! Thank you Senator McCain! I salute you! God Bless You and Your Precious Family! :) Know that you are worth so much more than the general people will ever be willing to offer. Your greatest rewards await you in heaven! :)

Election Day...Victory for God and Country

Lord God,

We humbly come before You and thank you for the unfathomable goodness You bestow upon our country each day and night! We know we do little to deserve it, which makes it all the more amazing that You give to us so freely.

With our eyes, we see obstacles, but Your Eyes see those same things as victories waiting to happen. This was the case with Joshua at Jericho. This was the case with Daniel in the lions' den. It was the case with David and Goliath. Surely it was the case with Jesus on the cross. Each of these stories has victory in common. Not just any victory, but "victory" that was TOTALLY against human odds. You are so much greater than obstacles. You are so much greater than human odds. We ask for this type of victory today for John, Sarah and America! We beg you to clear the way for them to be elevated to the leaders of our country.

Lord, send your Holy Spirit to incline each voter's heart and mind to vote with YOUR wisdom, whether they know you or not. May voters have supernatural encounters with you today, Lord, that surpass their human understanding. May hearts be won for you and may consciences be revived. Father God, may those who have pondered in darkness cast a vote in YOUR light!

We ask for YOU to be revealed in the Election results. We know this is ultimately in Your hands. Prepare our country for the direction of YOUR will. And God, if it be your will that John and Sarah are victorious in the election, we ask for gracious and humble hearts filled with gratitude.

We also ask for your peace to calm any angry hearts. We pray against any and all violence and the evil that inspires such behavior. We know that our battle is NOT against flesh and blood. Father God, I pray that each child of Yours be equipped with the full armor of God. Bathe us in Your truth. Inject us with Your wisdom. Give us courage of conviction. Give us love the the unlovely.

In Jesus' Holy Name and by the Power and Authority of His Resurrection,

Prayers from Ohio

Our Heavenly Father,

As we enter the last 48 hours of this election, I ask for your guidance and direction for our nation. Father, please bless this country and each and everyone one of us as we put forth the message of John McCain and Sarah Palin. I ask for your protection and light to be placed around John McCain and Sarah Palin. I ask that you give them the words to say so that ears will be open to the truth. Father, thank you for everything you have given us and please heal this nation of all the unrest as we enter into the election. Please protect our country and our freedoms! Your promises are clear and for this I am humbled and grateful! Please ease our minds and keep us focus on your will not ours.

In Jesus Name,

Deborah Thomas, Ohio

More Prayers from Sparrowgirls

Lord, I adore you. I thank you for your goodness. You are full of mercy and love. You want us to be one as you are one. Lord, I wish that all could adore you and know you. You are our Father, always looking after us, always loving and forgiving us. I adore the attention that you lavish on us. I adore the wonderful things of the earth that you gave us. You alone Lord must be the center of my life. I adore all people because I see you in them. They are all your children. Lord, let me love all people with a clean heart. Amen.

Our heavenly Father... we love and honor You tonight. You are so good and so great. You are greater than any problem we face as a country or as individuals. We praise you for your faithfulness to us, to our country. The prayer just prayed reminded me of the beauty of your creation. Thank you for giving us reminders all around us of your greatness. We need those reminders, Lord, because we are truly dust. How easily we get caught up in the things of the world sometimes, and having those reminders helps us to refocus. Your word says you inhabit the praise of your people. We know you are here with us. In Jesus' name, men.

Be still...and know that I am GodLord I have to confess to you. I am filled with sin and anger. There is sometimes nothing whole in me. I get caught up with the things of this world and forget you. Sometimes I fall prey to despair. Lord give me your strength! You are in charge of all. I am in charge of nothing. Lord I confess that I rely upon myself too often and on you, not nearly enough. Lord, that I might see. Amen.

Dear Lord, our country has strayed so far from where we should be. Forgive us, Lord, for putting things before God. And I helped by standing by. For allowing evil influences to change things in our country in a direction we know is not pleasing to You. Let us become ONE nation UNDER GOD INDIVISIBLE again. Forgive me, personally, for my sinful heart. For thoughts, words, and actions that are not of you, for letting flesh rule sometimes instead of the Spirit within me! Lord, your heart is breaking over the murder taking place of innocent babies. Please give us wisdom and strength to stand against this! May WE speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. Forgive us for allowing our country to get to this point. We must stay involved in the political process as much as we can. Please, Lord, forgive America and turn her once again towards You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we thank you for giving us Leaders after your own heartI thank you Lord for I can see the glorious victory that you are preparing for us. You were so good to us to give us President Bush at a crucial time. Now you are going to give us John and Sarah. They are not as smooth as their opponent. But their hearts are pure and burn with love for you and for our country. Thank you Lord for stout hearted people of passion who want to do the best for our country. They even give their lives. They give up their liberties for this great promise of America. The Land that you blessed and set apart from the whole world. Lord protect this plantYou will, I know this. Thank you Lord and give us Holy Trust. You are the master of the Universe. Thank you Lord for Holy Confidence. I pray that our voters make a plan and carry out that plan successfully to actually go to the polls and vote. Though an army encamp against us, you are our rock and our shied. Our Sheild. You are our strength. We will bring our country back to you Lord. We will be your Army. Thank you for the good men and women of America. In our hearts we know what is good and true. Turn back those hearts Lord on Tuesday to do what is right. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Yes...Bring your Holy Spirit to those who are unsure. Let your Spirit be among voters as they vote. We beg of you! Thank you, Lord, for giving us Your Spirit. Thank you for giving us Your Word. Thank you for the precious gift of salvation and the spiritual freedom we have in You. We treasure our political freedom, but SO much moreso our spiritual freedom. That we do not have to live under the guilt of sin ever again! Hallelujah, Lord Jesus! As the song. It Is Well says... my sin is NAILED TO THE CROSS and I bear it NO MORE! Thank you for the blood of Jesus, Lord. Thank you, Jesus, for going to the cross. Thank you for your precious church of believers who can come together now and stand united FOR YOU. PLEASE, Lord, we ask your Spirit to be all across our land on Tuesday IN the voting booth with those who are not sure or who are soul searching.Guide their hands, Lord. In Jesus' name and for HIS sake, Amen.

Lord, on our knees, with hearts full of sorrow and hope we pray thee. Save our great nation. Lord turn us back to the right path. Lord, that we may be your people again. That we may know your heart. That our hearts may become like yours. I ask you Lord, that in this great election, your people will come to know the truth. They will vote according to the morals that they know from You alone. That their hearts will not be angry hearts, but will be open hearts. Lord, we know that only one team can lead this nation. It is the team that honors you. It honors your commandments. On our knees Lord, we beg thee...

Guide the hearts of the American people to the right path on Tuesday. Lord that they might recognize your Holy Will and vote for John and Sarah. And that in the coming years after their election may they be inspired by their witness to you to be the people that you desire all people to become. To be a light unto the nations. A people who puts you first. You told me many years ago Lord, that if I put you first, that you would put me first. Lord you are always faithful to your Word and your Promises. You will show the nations how you bless a faithful people. Lord, I trust that this will be done. This is a hope that has never been spoken. Always in the history of man, there is an ending doom. But Lord, it could be different. We could become humans fashioned from your heart. This Lord is our humble prayer. We ask this through the blood of Jesus, crucified for our sins. We nail this prayer to the cross. At Jesus feet we nail it. Amen.

Oh, God, our hearts are so heavy over this election. We know that SO much is at stake for the future of America, the future of the Christian foundation upon which our nation was built. Please, God, do not let the blood that has been shed for this be in vain! We sense a great struggle, Lord, all across the country. And we know, as your word says, that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Tonight, we battle in the Spirit, with the Spirit, against these forces, Lord. Thank you for the confidence we can have when we come before Your throne, Lord. It is Jesus who makes this possible. Lord, we do get angry when we see the Bible mocked by Obama. We ask you to frustrate his plans, Lord! In these final days, let the one who we see has honored you for so much of his life continue the momentum he is gaining! Thank you, Lord, for what you are doing in our country. I know of one who is searching spiritually through all of this Lord. Please bring her into a right relationship with You! Please use this election to glorify Your name once again Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear Lord, We have been so stressed. It seems that those "in charge" tell us that what is wrong is right. It seems inevitable that our country and future is doomed. Our positions are twisted and we feel frustrated. How much like an Old Testament story this sounds and feels! But we know you will intervene. You will rescue your people who stand up for You, the righteous. You will overcome the wicked and make things right. And, even if this is the end of the world...let us be strong because it is Your will. It is no mistaking anything. Thank you for giving us the insight...the faith...the friends...Your love...we would rather be suffering for You than winning with them. Amen.

"Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people... of the characters and conduct of their rulers." ~John Adams

Monday Morning Prayer from Mark

Let's Pray:

We love YOU LORD... We thank YOU LORD... Help us LORD...

A Prayer For The Voting Booth

If you can't pray in a voting booth, where can you pray? And where would you need more to pray? Here is the 2008 text of the prayer:

With my vote today I am prepared and intending to seek peace for this country, as it is written:

“Seek out the peace of the city where I cause you to roamand pray for her sake to God YHVH*, for in her peace you all will have peace.” (Jer. 29:7)

May it be Your will that votes will be counted faithfully and may You account my vote as if I had fulfilled this verse with all my power.

May it be good in Your eyes to give a wise heart to whomever we elect today and may You raise for us a government whose rule is for good and blessing to bring justice and peace to all the inhabitants of the world and to Jerusalem, for rulership is Yours!

Just as I participated in elections today so may I merit to do good deeds and repair the world with all my actions, and with the act of voting for McCain/Palin which I pledge to do today on behalf of all living creatures and in remembrance of the covenant of Noah's waters to protect and to not destroy the earth and her plenitude.

May You give to all the peoples of this country, the strength and will to pursue righteousness and to seek peace as unified force in order to cause to flourish, throughout the world, good life and peace and may You fulfill for us the verse:

“May the pleasure of Adonai* our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us, may the work of our hands endure.” (Ps. 90:17)

Our Prayer: The Star Spangled Banner

O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?

And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

* * *
On the shore dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?

Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner: O, long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

* * *
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash'd out their foul footsteps' pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

* * *
O thus be it ever when free-men shall stand
Between their lov'd home and the war's desolation;
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us a nation!

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust!”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive. (Matthew 21:22)

No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and sound mind.
(2 Timothy 1:7)

Let this battle belong to the LORD and we will see victory, Let's PRAY.
Father the time growws shorter and this vessels grow weary. Strengthen US...

DEUTEROTOMY 20:4 - "'for the LORD your God [is] He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.'

PSALM 35:1 - "PLEAD [my cause,] O LORD, with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me."

Let the world see the fulfillment as they saw it once before at JERIMIAH 1:19 - " They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I [am] with you," says the LORD, "to deliver you."

Deliver us, from hands that do not practice what is right. Cleanse this land a set our feet firmly as it was you who established the United States with our founding Fathers.

1 KINGS 17:39 - "But the LORD your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies."

Because we trust in You LORD, deliver us.

PSALM 22:8 - "He trusted* in the LORD, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!"

For John McCain and Sarah Palin LORD - PSALM 25:20 - "Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You."

And PSALM 31:1 - " IN You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness."

Let the LORD GOD, lead us through to victory on Tuesday...

PSALM 31:15 - " My times [are] in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me. "

And I will close this morning with PSALM 37:40 - "And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him."

We stand on your word, because we trust in you our GOD, our LORD and our KING... Govern us in YOUR perfect love,

In JESUS Name, AMEN...

We Must Still Pray and Fight...

PRAYER is a powerful tool, so let's use it.

Faith is a muscle, time to exercise... Lord GOD, we humble ourselves again asking YOU, give ear to our request... For John McCain and Sarah Palin, grant them victory in the election GOD. I know they pray along with us.

2 Chronicles 6:35 - " "then hear from heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause."

2 Chronicles 6:40 - "Now, my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and [let] Your ears [be] attentive to the prayer [made] in this place."

The polls say nay and our hearts are wearly - but we stand on your promises...

Mark 11:22 - "So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God." and we will LORD. Being rapped in this flesh , Jesus - you know how we think... Please hear us...

Luke 17:6 - " So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you."

PLANT this tree for us in our White House, the branches from your vine LORD...

BLESS the LORD GOD, Bless these United States - in JESUS, Name, AMEN.

Sparrowgirls Lifts John and Sarah

Dear God,

The LORD is Sarah's light and her salvation -- whom shall she fear? The LORD is the stronghold of her life -- of whom shall she be afraid? When evil men advance against her to devour her flesh, when her enemies and her foes attack her, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege her, her heart will not fear; though war break out against her, even then will she be confident.

One thing she asks of the Lord, this is what she seeks: that she may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of her life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep her safe in his dwelling; he will hide her in the shelter of his tabernacle and set her high upon a rock. Then her head will be exalted above the enemies who surround her; at his tabernacle will she sacrifice with shouts of joy; she will sing and make music to the Lord.

Hear her voice when she calls, O Lord; be merciful to her and answer her. Her heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, Lord, she will seek. Do not hide your face from her, do not turn yur servant away in anger, you have been her helper. Do not reject her or forsake her, O God her Savior. Though her father and mother forsake her, the Lord will receive her.

Teach her your way, O Lord; lead her in a straight path because of her oppressors. Do not turn her over to the desire of her foes, for false witnesses rise up against her, breathing out violence. She is still confident of this: She will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Amen, and for John, too, Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father. We adore you. You are so mighty and powerful, and yet you long for us to approach you. You have no need of our adoration, but as it says in the Bible, you delight in the sons of men. Lord, we are so happy to be in your presence. We are filled with light as we contemplate you in your holy temple. Open our hearts to your presence and your Holy Spirit tonight. We know how much you love us and want us to be happy and to be holy. Thank you Lord for always being faithful. Amen

Lord, we come to you on bended knee and with humble hearts as we look to your favor. You are always so loving, blessing us even though we are so undeserving. We ask your forgiveness for those words or thoughts that were hurtful in your eyes. As you love others, so must we love them, no matter how much our emotions are stirred from the news that surrounds us like bees of a hive. Please have mercy on us, Lord Jesus. We love you and only wish to please you. Please, we beg of you to put your Light in our hearts so that we might not be sinful in your eyes with thoughts, words or deeds. Have mercy on us, please forgive us. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, we want to give you this thankful prayer. We thank you so much for giving us Your Son. You are our only salvation. We thank you for this wonderful country based on Christian principles, and we pray that we will Do Your Will on election Day. We thank you for the result you will deliver to us. We know that Your will be done, and we love you and praise your name always. Thank you for our lives and our families. Thank you for John McCain and Sarah Palin in this time of our countries need. We praise you and thank you for all of the ground swell that we feel in this election. Thank you for this wonderful group of women who love you and support one another. Thank you for the fire in our bellies and the opportunity to spread you Word during this tough time. Thank You ThankYou ThankYou. In Jesus name, Amen.

Father, I ask for your peace to rule and reign in the hearts of your people. I plead the blood of Jesus over the sins of our nation and its people. Thank you for its cleansing power that enables us to receive your blessings. May hope and faith rise up in our hearts. May your Spirit impress your children regarding the importance of this election. Guide us in paths of righteousness for your name's sake. Consider the meditations of our hearts in the matter of this election. Hear our prayer, O Lord. Amen.

God grant John, Sarah, the u.s. citzens of America and I the serenity to accept the things we cannot change; This verse just came to mind. The eyes of the Lord run to and fro over the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of them whose hearts are perfect toward him.courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. Amen and now a reading from Proverbs 3, 5-6: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. Amen.

May this prayer also go out to Sarah, John and all Americans.

Words to Pray By

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are all Americans! We have a right relationship with each other and we have a right relationship with God the Father Almighty because of what His Son, Christ Jesus our Lord has done for us that we could never ever do for ourselves. Amen! Instead of casting doubts and fears about what may happen on election day-2008 and even after election day, we as Americans need to celebrate the fact that we can vote for the candidates of our own choice.

We are not told who to vote for by some military officer. We are not threatened with loss of life, if we do not vote for some dictator. We as Americans have just as many rights and privileges to encourage each other to vote for any candidate that we may endorse. We are free to disagree!

However, we have a patriotic duty and responsibility to vote! We cannot remain "undecided" about any of the people that are seeking public office in the Congress of these United States of America. These people will have the stewardship of this nation and the governing rule of authority over us. We must all pray for them, no matter who gets elected. Hebrews 13:17-25

This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118:24 Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His Holy Name. For His anger is but for the moment, His favor is for a life time; Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning. Psalm 30:4-5 Heavenly Father, we need You! We trust You with all of our heart! Lord God, FORGIVE us all of our sins of omission and commission; having left undone those things that You have given us to do and doing those things that You instructed us NOT TO DO. Have Mercy upon us, most merciful Lord.

Pardon and Deliver me from the consequences of all my sins in the authority of the name of Christ Jesus my Lord and my Savior.Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart BE always acceptable in Your sight, Oh Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14 Yours is the Kingdom that we want to be part of here on earth; Yours is the Power that we need each day to overcome the doubts that are in our minds with the absolute faith that is in our hearts;Yours is the Glory that we give to You by doing what You have created us to do, in obedience to Your Word.Bless the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me BLESS HIS HOLY NAME!

Bless the Lord, oh my soul and forget not ALL of HIS BENEFITS! Psalm 103:1-2
Amen and Amen!

Prayer from Mark -- In Harmony...

...let GOD know who we want... McCain and Palin 2008.

PSALM 27 A Psalm of David. "THE LORD [is] my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD [is] the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I [will be] confident. One [thing] I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. Hear, O LORD, [when] I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. [When You said,] "Seek My face," My heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek." Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me. Teach me Your way, O LORD, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence. [I would have lost heart,] unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!"

Be gracious to us our LORD our GOD. Be gracious to John and Sarah. Grant our humble petition, in JESUS Name, AMEN...

Prayer from Sheila in Gig Harbor, Washington

Dear Lord, Thank You for our wonderful country and for the many who have worked and sacrificed to create her and to keep her safe. I ask Your continued protection for our country during these dangerous times. I pray for our troops and their loved ones and that You comfort the injured and the families and friends of those who have died in battle. I ask that You bring John McCain and Sarah Palin to the White House. I pray that You bring new Republicans into the House and Senate so that President McCain can get the job done that needs to be done. I pray for the safety of our troops around the world and for our continued victory in our war with terrorists, and that You lead us to it's end. I pray that You bring enlightenment and light into the darkness of the minds of the jihadists who have been so indoctrinated and manipulated in their belief system. I thank You for guiding our wonderful President George W. Bush on his difficult journey these past 8 years. He has served our country with every fiber of his being, doing what he knew to be right in spite of the ceaseless and viscous attacks against him by the media and politicians on the left. He has remained steadfast and true in his faith in You and in our country. Thank You for comforting us through him after 9/11 tore our hearts open and connected us all in grief. Please bless him in every way for all the days of his life, and may it be a long and happy one. I ask that You let him know in his heart how beloved he is by many, that the media and the voices of the left that rail against him are not the majority. I ask that You wake people up to the realities of the dangers we are facing in the world before November, so that they may clearly see how important it is that John McCain defeat Obama because John McCain can be the strong leader we need to conquer the evils arrayed against us. I thank You for guiding John McCain to pick Sarah Palin as his running mate. I pray for the Iraqi people, that they find peace together and cast all foreign terrorists from their midst so that our troops can come home. I pray for peace in Afghanistan and Pakistan and that You lead us to victory there by removing the Taliban and Al Qaeda terrorists from the mountains and enclaves from which they wreak such evil acts. I pray that good prevails against evil. I pray that You unite the American people to this cause and bring peace and harmony to all. With love and gratitude, Amen.

A Concerned American Prays...

Almighty God, Heavenly Father, You Who raises up kings and takes them down again, look with mercy and pity upon our country, the United States of America at this time of our greatest need. On behalf of the citizens of this country, we repent of the many national sins we have committed in this land, especially the sins of sodomy and bloodguiltiness (abortion). As much as we may deserve Divine wrath, stay Your Hand in the merits of those who are truly righteous Americans and who have spoken out and worked against these and other evils. You promised Avraham Avinu (Abraham our father) that if he could find ten righteous in Sodom, you would spare that city. We pray that between all the religious Jews and religious Christians in our great land, You may find at least ten righteous in whose merits You may have mercy and decide to spare our land. We pray against Barack Hussein Obama, the evil now facing our nation. Stand in his way, Lord, prevent him from seizing the Office of the President. Punish the corruption, the lies, the vote fraud, all the laws this man and his followers have broken to to illegally steal the highest office of our land. Do not let this punishment come upon us! Almighty God, Master of the Universe, forgive us our national sins, hear our prayer, and heal our land. Amen.

Sparrowgirls Prayer Group

Father God, there are so many souls that are in flux tonight as we approach the day of voting. Some have already voted, and we just pray that they had pure hearts when they made their selections. There are so many people who are to affected by the many people we elect to office. I pray that you are with not only the whole United States of America, but also with those battleground states where the heavy decisions will be made. Amen.

Dear God, we pray for Americans to have good wisdom and judgment when entering the voting booth, we pray so that they can think of you while making their decision and that they realize there is much at stake. Many people have heard Sen Obama's words and tonight saw his infomercial, please allow them to see through the words and into the character of the man. Please give them information and wisdom to make the correct decision. Please open their eyes and help them through this decision. We all here have noticed how he twists the truth and he has a way with words, but please give voters the wisdom and judgment to make the right decision. Amen. Lord, I am praying tonight for Fairness in the Media. We feel that the media is not being fair in covering our candidate John McCain and, as a result, people are uninformed and cannot make a proper decision. We ask you Lord, to expose the hearts of the media, to move their hearts to genuine love of country and their countrymen by renewing within them, a sense of Fairness. Let them no longer have a bias in one direction or another.

We pray for the electorate to care enough, to be informed, to strive for truth as well. The media tries to distort the truth and suppress other truth. Lord, we pray that the hearts of these media people who have so much power, become responsible to their civic trusts. We pray that from now on, they take their responsibilities much more seriously, so as to give fair hearing to our candidates John and Sarah without distortion. We pray that the voters will take their responsibility as citizens seriously and truly vote with the good of the country in their mind. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Dear God, Thank you so much for John McCain and Sarah Palin. We ask that you give them strength, an extra measure of energy, and Your perfect wisdom in the coming days. On election night, give them peace as they anticipate the results of the polls. I pray that you will bring to light anything else that needs to come to light about Obama in these final days before Americans make their final decision on election day. Any that are undecided, guide them to people or information on the internet or in newspapers that will help them make the best choice in this very important election. Please protect John McCain and Sarah Palin and their families. We have seen some very disturbing things taking place during this election, on both sides. I pray for protection over all of our country and that whatever the final result, people will not resort to violence but place their trust in You and Your will. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord, we ask for your loving hand to be over the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nevada, N. Hampshire, Florida, N. Mexico, N. Carolina, Colorado, and Virginia. We ask for your love to be showered over the people of these states as you bring forth the prayer warriors that are praying through the election. That through turning our eyes to you that you will not turn from us. We feel so strongly that your favor is on this election result. Keep the candidates strong and healthy, free from distraction so that they might do your will. Please let those of us who have been called to volunteer either vocally or silently to do your will that will glorify you and lift you up, as all praise is due to you and you alone. Amen.

Prayers Offered By Sparrowgirls' Prayer Group

Dear God... I praise you tonight for your faithfulness through good times and bad in our great country...Father, I place my trust in You. For our country, our people, the affairs of the nation. You are worthy of all trust, Father, we thank you for all the blessings you've given us, both seen and unseen, you are so good to usI pray tonight that...God takes care of us and gives us the help John McCain and Sarah Palin overcome the great odds......and if we are successful...I promise to get religion - honestly and not jokingly.

Lord, we confess as a nation that we have sinned in many areas. We are not perfect as a nation or as individuals. We ask for your forgiveness. We need revival in America and true repentance in the hearts of your people all across our land. Lord we have not kept your ways. We have turned to false idols. We worship flesh and material goods more than we worship you. Father, we are so selfish in so many ways, and it must cause your heart to break when we do not listen carefully to your direction and choose to do for ourselves. Please forgive us for our selfish ways and choosing to do for ourselves, instead of depending on your loving guidance.Thank you, dear God, for America. Thank you for the leadership you gave us in President Bush for these past eight years. Even though many in our country have not agreed with him on many things, I am thankful that he was our leader during the horrible tragedy of 9/11. Thank you for the men and women serving our country in the military to preserve our freedom and to help others gain freedom. May many Iraqi's come to know You and spiritual freedom through the political freedom they now have. Lord from north to south, from east to west you have given us such a beautiful country, full of bounty and promise. The people you have chosen to come here have all come with dreams. Each group has contributed to our great nation. Lord we ask you to bless us and make us right again. To become your people again.

Thank you, dear God, for America. I am so thankful for your Word because it is good and always true. I thank you for those you've brought to the forefront to serve our country and its people, to try to bring order back to this chaos. We thank you for the service in John McCain and for his family who stands strongly behind him. We also thank you for bringing Sarah and her family to the call. We are so grateful for those who have also heard the call to serve, be it the military or the media to bring us the truth. Make them strong to bear the brunt of evil that comes up against them. We thank you for your Heavenly Guard that protects us night and day.

Lord, I pray for this election. This is a difficult time for us, for our country. We have experienced a lot during President Bush's term, and we know the challenges that face our next Commander-in-Chief. Ultimately, we pray for Your will to be done. And if it is Your will, we pray for success for John McCain and Sarah Palin. We have observed over the campaigning season the ways of all candidates on both tickets. We believe that John McCain and Sarah Palin are what our country needs at this moment in our history. We believe that their policies on certain issues honor You. We believe that they will bring a breath of fresh air to Washington and hold the politicians there accountable to do the job that they have been elected to do. Please give all voters wisdom when they enter the voting booth to truly make the best decision for this country. Bring to their minds anything that might help them make that decision. I pray especially for all of the battleground states.... Lord, I beg you, that against all odds, our people will realize that they are about to embark on a dangerous course for our country. One that may bring them closer to godlessness. They will rend our nation. Evil nations will seize upon our weakness. Lord I ask for your protection for our great land. We have such fine people as John and Cindy, Sarah and Todd who want to protect Your beautiful America. Before it is too late, cause the hearts of Your people to come to a right judgement. Lord, there are times when to heal us, You have to break us. Please give us the strenght to withstand this. Please do not let us descend into godless communism. But Your will be done, Lord. We meekly submit ourselves to Your hand. But with all my heart, I pray for America. Please Lord, grant us the grace of good judgment. Please let us continue as one nation under YOU. Father, it is with Your guidance that You bring us together in support of one another, just as You did the early Christians in their despair when Your Son was crucified on the cross. You nurtured them, led them to hear the words that had been softly spoken in their ear when they walked with Christ during His ministry. I ask of you Lord, to please continue to nurture us, let that small voice become louder in our ear so that we do not fear to stand together as a nation who is ever so grateful for what we have worked so much to strengthen. Please be with us, surround us all with protection on these long nights before Nov. 4th. Please let blind eyes be open, deaf ears opened to hear that the choice they are making will be so strong of an impact on not only us, but nations throughout the world. May we continue to bring honor and glory and praise to Your Holy Name.

Please bless President Bush and thank you, Lord, for giving us this fine man during these crisis years. He has had quite the burden. So many times I have thanked You for giving us President Bush at a time like this. Keep us strong in the days ahead. In Jesus Name, Amen. Yes, Lord. Thank you for Your church...People who love You and seek to honor You and to live a life that is pleasing before you...Thank you for our country's Christian principles on which we were founded. I pray that Your church will stand strong for You once again in this election. I pray that we will be a light to others and be unified in our efforts. I pray that the purpose You had for America when she was born will be fully realized....I know that You had something special in mind when America was born. Despite what some are saying about America's "image" in the world, America has always stood with Israel...I pray that this will continue through the next Presidency. I pray that Your church will be strengthened through this election and that America will continue to do the good in the world that we are known for doing, yet, as John McCain has pledged, that we will not just give so much of the resources You have entrusted to us to countries that HATE us and want to destroy us. America must stay strong to fulfill the purpose you have for her. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Sunday Prayer -- Please Keep In Mind

Matthew 22: 34 - 40

"But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sad'ducees, they came together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him. Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law? And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets."

Dearest Father who is always Just and who is slow to anger and merciful to all who seek you. Look not upon our sins but hear our prayer for Senator John McCain and Gov. Sarrah Palin that our country choose rightly in this election and that your will be done. We ask heavenly Father that you give unto our Country change for the good and we trust in you. Regardless of the outcome of this election, we will has a people, strive to live by these words of your beloved son. For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us all and on the whole world.

No idle word should be uttered. I understand a word to be idle when it serves no good purpose, either for myself or for another, and was not intended to do so.

-- St. Ignatius of Loyola

The highest degree of meekness consists in seeing, serving, honoring, and treating amiably, on occasion, those who are not to our taste, and who show themselves unfriendly, ungrateful, and troublesome to us.

God's Plan: William's Prayer for All

Be compassionate, care for others, treat others fairly, study Scripture, apply the teachings of Jesus in your life, search for God in difficult times & good, help the needy & your health will return, feed the hungry & God will Bless you, give the hurting attention & you will be lifted up, seek to do right, seek truth but be graceful with it, help others in humilty, not to gain recognition, with a humble heart seek God's will for your life.

Let the light of Jesus encompass you. Love others even when they dont love you back. Do you know what God's plan is for your life? The plain teachings of Scripture is for us to give glory to The Lord, & to be a witness to a lost & dying world. Finding God's plan for your life is realizing how to be a witness, as we all have different gifts. The fruit of the Righteous is a tree of life, & he who is wise wins souls.

Proverbs 11:30 -- Let the hope of Christ return fill your heart, & start by praying to the Lord that he come into your heart to reign supreme, to forgive you of your sins, confess that you believe Jesus lived, died, & rose again that you would be freed from the bondage of sin & believe with all of your heart that he is now King of your life. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer & believe it with all of soul, you are now a new creature, start by going to a Gospel believing church & reading the Holy Bible.

Sunday Night Prayer from Mark

Many people awake and about... Since we stir, let us stand...

Father, we are so greatful that you have given us a choice for president that looks unto you. For the McCain and Palin family and those who stand with them - we ask for supernatural strength, wisdom and courage...

Let not the anger get the best of us, I stand in the thoughts of Inchristalonewilliam, and I agree.

Hebrews 12:1 -3 says - "THEREFORE we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares [us,] and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of [our] faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls."

We stand united in this promise, knowing that this crowd of witnesses not be weighed down, through the carelessness of sin, but be encouraged by those who stand as our candidtates, outnumbered by 'polls' that means nothing - because you triumphed over evil using only two sticks and three nails.

UNDERDOGS - UNITE... Let us no longer be the UNDER DOG but be UNDER GOD instead... IN GOD WE TRUST...

In JESUS Name, AMEN...

Sunday Prayer from Deborah, Ohio

Dear Heavenly Father,
I humble myself today and ask for your divine wisdom in this upcoming election. I pray for grace and patience as we move towards Nov 4. We as a nation are so divided and I pray for your hand to touch each of us so that we can come from a place of love not fear. Father, we need a miracle! Please give John McCain and Sarah Palin the right words to say so that America can hear the truth and know in their heart that McCain and Palin is the right choice for America.

Our country was founded on Judeo Christian beliefs and I feel that it is being threaten. I want to be able to worship you and practice my beliefs. I pray that our core values and principles of our nation remain intact. I pray for peace and brotherhood with all men. I pray that we all get it, father. We need pure understanding. For the first time in my life I fear oppression of free speech. I ask that you guide all of us in the coming days and give us the strength and words to be able to combat the naysayers. I pray for your will to be done and I am so grateful for your love and support in my own life. Father, I give my life to you and want to follow your wishes not my own. Please give America the direction that you will have her take. Put the people in my life that will serve your purpose and your will. I thank you for allowing me to be part of a plan that is for the better good. My life is great because of you. Thank you for giving me such wonderful friends and a business relationship that is far better then I ever imagined. " where 2 or 3 are gathered together there am I in the midst of them." "the eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good." Prov. 15:3.

In Jesus name, Amen

Sunday Prayer from Sharon, Oklahoma

Father, We pray for our great nation. "one nation under God" Founded by your providential will...........a nation that has grown and prospered in spite of our sin, and rebellion.

We pray that your "people who are called by your name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek your face, and turn from their wicked ways, and that you will hear us, forgive our sin, and will heal our land". II Chron.7: 14

We pray for our leaders who want to uphold our constitution as it was intended by our forefathers. That you will protect them and keep them "under the shadow of the Almighty"

That we once again will unashamedly call on you for our wisdom, strength, forgiveness, cleansing.

That we will once again believe that you are fighting our battles as you did for the Israelites in th Old Testament.

That we will call on you to show us our own wickedness outside of Christ, and repent as a nation.

That we will repent for the backsliding of our nation, that you might hear us and forgive us.

That your Word will once again be our guide of what is right and wrong, of what we need and don't need.

That all of our inalienable rights are written in your Word and some are written in "The Declaration of Independence" ie. "that all men (including women and children) have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Our first and most important right and freedom is to worship God.

Our sole purpose, both here and throughout eternity, is to glorify God and to enjoy Him.
We pray that you by your grace will show each of us your plan to glorify your self through us as a nation and individually, and also as the church, your bride. Amen

Sunday Prayer from Donna

Dear God manifest your power and glory and presence in this nation! SAVE US!

Sunday Prayer from Ohio

With a concentration on GOD'S Word respecting the sanctity of life... Let's Pray,

LORD, As we stand here in Your awesome presence - there stands before two choices; before this country who professes to TRUST in You; A man of integrity - who has choosen a counterpart of like mind - who demostrate a sincere belief in YOU - and the latter, a man who says he belongs to You - but his heart remains far off from You. He does not hold the sancitity of life dear, he does not take into consideration what You have said regarding INFANTS. His counterpart whom he has chosen questions his own ability to lead LORD...

It bothers us LORD, that Satan has blinded the minds of those unbelieving into raising this man up as a leader, when his track record is well established as a FOLLOWER...

Hold true to your word Father at PSALM 119:126 - "[It is] time for [You] to act, O LORD, [For] they have regarded Your law as void. "

Let the truth be established at PROVERBS 25:19 - "Confidence in an unfaithful [man] in time of trouble [Is like] a bad tooth and a foot out of joint."

Do not Let the United States be brought down as in Ecclesiates 8:9 - "All this I have seen, and applied my heart to every work that is done under the sun: [There is] a time in which one man rules over another to his own hurt."

Let us stand in your presence and proclaim... 1 John 5:4 - " For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our* faith."
Keep us faithful and hear our prayer on behalf of John McCain and Sarah Palin...

In JESUS Name, AMEN...

Thursday Prayer

Let's pray,

LORD, now more than ever before we recognize the need to come together in like mind for the work you need us to do. We have before us a Leadership in John McCain and Sarah Palin, rulers that want to re-establish for the American People what is right in YOUR eyes, GOD. Through FAITH, they have come together for this purpose. Let us join with them now and stand together, ONE NATION UNDER GOD.

Philippians 1:27,28 "Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God."

In JESUS Name, Amen
Watch this people and have a fantastic day.
